What is KYC (Know Your Customer)?

KYC stands for Know Your Customer. This is the standard verification process required prior to operations on Lykke Exchange. The submission includes:

  • A selfie
  • ID verification
  • Proof of Address

To initiate KYC follow these steps:

Android

1. Tap (+) for Trading Wallet to open popup menu.

2. On popup menu select either SWIFT, Credit Card or More Payment Methods. Tap on the currency you would like to deposit. For example, select USD for depositing

3. Select the document for ID. For example, passport

4. Take a selfie and swipe left to proceed.

5. Make a photo of your ID or upload it from your photo library.  Note that for some IDs both sides should be provided.

6. Make a photo of Proof of Address or upload it from your photo library. Please check the article What are requirements for KYC? to make sure it matches the requirements. Tap Done to complete the procedure.

You may follow the same procedure from your Trading Wallet if you tap on (+) for any fiat currency and select one of the methods to deposit on the popup menu.

1. Tap (+) for Trading Wallet to open popup menu.

2. On popup menu select either SWIFT, Credit Card or More Payment Methods. Tap on the currency you would like to deposit. In the example below we select Credit Card to deposit USD.

4. Make a photo of your ID and swipe left to proceed. Note that for some IDs both sides should be provided.

5. Make a photo of Proof of Address. Please check the article What are requirements for KYC? to make sure it matches the requirements.

6. Take a selfie and tap Done to complete the procedure.

After you submit the photos of necessary documents, our KYC team verifies them and provides you the status of your submission. Once your account is approved, you are able to deposit fiat currencies and proceed with trading operations.
